Lady Indians took 2 nd place! Overall record was 26-12-2. Last time SV was in the Final Four was 2007.

SV Vintage Sports Keepsake Character Girls Basketball
This vintage SV sports character keepsake girl basketball player was skillfully handcrafted and hand painted by students in former SV Art Teacher, Don Ruessler’s Art class during the mid to late 70’s. The wooden character, standing approximately 3 feet tall, was completed as a school project and hung with pride in the SV gym for many years. SV memorabilia at its best!

It’s just a $20 bill, as green as green can be
But quite a great tradition, it has come to be.
One year the St. Pat’s Auction was just about to end,
But many of the people still had cash they planned to spend.
“Here’s a twenty,” Eugene said, “see what it will bring.”
Soon the willing auction bids over the crowd did ring.
Fifty, sixty, seventy, we couldn’t believe our eyes,
Up and up the bid did go for that symbolic prize.
Finally, the bidding stopped, now isn’t that so cool
To see what folks ‘round here will do, to help St. Vincent School.
They say the best is saved for last, I guess it must be true.
So buy! Your name goes on the list when all the biddings thru.
Open your wallets, don’t be shy, raise your voices clear.
We’ll keep the twenty; we’ll keep the school, year after year, after year.
