We regretfully are offering for sale our marvelous Sailing Ketch
“MAEVA”, we unfortunately have to make this move due to health and
age issues. She is thoughtfully designed with a three stateroom layout,
two heads, 7 foot headroom throughout and a huge centre cockpit
completely sheltered from the elements, she also boosts an aft cockpit
with a BBQ or for just lazing about under an easily fitted awning, with
a three quarter fixed keel and a skeg hung rudder she is a sea kindly,
safe and fast passage maker.
“MAEVA” is a magnificent sailing ship, virtually totally refurbished
during the last few years at cost approaching NZ $ 350 000. We sailed
the Pacific in 2006 and averaged 6.43 knots for the 1200 miles to Fiji,
she easy covers 150-175 miles every 24 hours, and sails up to 8.5 knots.
She is equipped with every conceivable extra.
“MAEVA” is ready to go off shore on short notice. Shore

anchorages, perfect from November through to May, then leave with the Island Cruising
Association for the South Pacific cruise, Tonga, Fiji, Vanuatu, New Caledonia, May through
