PARCC Testing 2015 INFORMATION NEEDED TO ADMINISTER THE PARCC EXAMS March 18th & 19th PARCC Exams Schedule March 18th – English Exams 8:00-8:15- Log-in Time 8:15- 9:30 – Unit 1 Exam Unit 1 Exam: 1 hour 15 minutes 9:30 – 9:45 – Break 8:00 –8:15 – Log –In Time 8:15 – 9:15 – Unit 1 Exam Unit 1 Exam: 1 hour 9:45 – 11:15 – Unit 2 Exam Unit 2 Exam: 1 hour 30 minutes March 19th – Math Exams 11:15 – 12:00 - Lunch 12:00 – 1:00 – Unit 3 Exam Unit 3 Exam: 1 hour 9:15 – 9:30 – Break 9:30 – 10:30 Unit 2 Exam Unit 2 Exam: 1 hour PARCC Manuals are given to each person. You must read your manual. You can also review other information at http://parcc.pearson.com/manuals-training You must have pencils, paper, and ear phones for each student in your room. Students are allowed to bring their own ear phones. They must plug into the computer. Security Agreement You must sign the Security Agreement & Submit it to the School Test Coordinator, Mrs. McCabe. Attached you will find your security agreement. Once you have read the agreement. Please sign and date then return to Mrs. McCabe. Set up of the Room The computers will be set up and ready to go. There will be the following materials on each desk: computer, scratch paper, pencil, and ear phones(day 1). You will need to pick up the tickets in the counseling center that morning. The tickets are secure material in this testing setting. Please make sure you collect them at the end of testing. Once the students are seated, start handing out the testing tickets. Students are not allowed to have cell phones, books, ipods, etc. Same rules as all state testing. Nothing at all. Please ask them to turn their cell phones off. Set Up of the Room If your room is being used for testing, the following must be taken down or covered: anything related to English or Math concepts, graphic organizers, definitions, writing formulas, etc. The desks will be moved around in each room so please be prepared. What the day will look like for you: Before the testing day elect one person from your room supervisor list to pick up the tickets the morning of testing. Arrive at 7:30. If this is an issue please speak with me asap. Go to your room and make sure all computers are ready to go. Prepare for students to arrive and help students find their testing room. Once everyone is in the room pass out testing tickets and you may begin testing. During all tests you will need to be logged on and monitoring students’ progress. You may not assist a student with anything other then technology issues. What the day will look like for you: On day one after the English Unit 2 exam. Please collect all testing tickets. You can then release the students to lunch. They will need to report back to the same classroom at 12:00pm. Same goes for you. Please leave the tickets in the classroom and your classrooms will be locked by a floor supervisor. If you have a key to lock the room you are in then please do so at that time. What the day will look like for you After lunch please take attendance and pass out testing tickets. Start where you left off with testing. It will be the last unit for the students to take that day, Unit 3. Once students are finish and time is up, please collect testing tickets, and scratch paper and return it to the counseling center. All computers will then need to be pugged back into the cart in your testing room. Please leave the room the way it is for day 2 testing. Responsibilities the remainder of the day If your room is being used for testing do not allow anyone to use, take, or mess with any of the computers used for testing. Do not move desks around in your room.
