The Offering of AIOU Academic Programs for the year 2013 (Spring & Autumn semesters) contains semester-wise offering of all programs to be offered by four Faculties i.e. Social Sciences & Humanities, Sciences, Education and Arabic & Islamic Studies & BUESP. The compilation of Offering schemes of AIOU Academic Programs for every year is the sole responsibility of Directorate of Academic Planning and Course Production. In order to facilitate the students and further strengthening the operational activities, the University has introduced six General Groups/Cluster at Secondary School level, eight General Groups/Cluster at Higher Secondary School level and seven General Groups/Cluster at Bachelor level and three B.A groups i.e. B.A in Library and Information, B.Com and B.A Mass Communication. In addition to this, the University has also introduced Associate Degree in Commerce. The Offering scheme of AIOU Academic Programs for the year 2013 (Spring & Autumn semesters) will hopefully, facilitate all the Academic and Servicing Departments for updating the prospectus for new program’s admission advertisement and the preparation of course assignments, print/reprint order of books and workshops and tutorial meetings schedule for each semester i.e. Spring and Autumn 2013. It will also enable the Regional Campuses to provide appropriate information and guidance to prospective students.
