Good Afternoon, Cub Run Parents -We have had a great first week of SOL Testing. Almost all of our English/Reading SOL tests in 3rd, 4th & 5th grades have been completed. We are very proud of the hard work and effort that students have been making. Thank you for your encouragement of your students who may have been taking tests. Fifth graders have both science and math SOL tests in the coming two weeks. Third and fourth graders have their state SOL math tests in the coming two weeks. Again ... Thank you for your help in supporting your children's success through your encouragement of their progress and hard work this year ... and for ensuring that they get a good night's sleep before any test, and having a healthy and hearty breakfast prior to coming to school on testing days. As you may remember, many of you filled out a PTA Survey in the fall for their application for Cub Run to be named a "School Of Excellence." Thanks for taking the time to do this many months ago. As part of the survey process, the PTA needs your help in filling out a follow-up survey. Please take a few minutes to provide your feedback at the link highlighted in Pagie Hawkins e-mail below. The window for providing feeback runs through next Friday, May 22. Thank you in advance for your participation. As a National PTA School of Excellence, Cub Run Elementary will be known as leading the nation in family-school partnerships and at the forefront of engaging families in continuous school improvement. If you have questions or concerns, please email the Cub Run PTA at cubrunpta@gmail.com To complete the survey, please visit: (A drop box is available on the survey welcome screen to select English/Spanish) http://jmu.co1.qualtrics.com/SE/?SID=SV_9XKGQqiwbVXjaLj Thank you very much for your time in providing this valuable feedback.
