Pure Evil:
Pure Evil was born in South Wales and studied fashion and graphics in
London. After he graduated school he moved to California where his
street art began. After 10 years in America (and heavily influenced by
artists like Twist, Reminisce and skate art) he returned to London and
the fanged bunny rabbits became his trademark signature. In August 2013
he appeared in the Channel 4 programme Four Rooms. Recently he

Steven Smythe:
Currently a lecturer of visual communications at a college in Cambridge
and a freelance graphic and web designer, Steve has a degree in Product
Design and a teaching degree from Cambridge University. A self-taught
artist, he began creating his work in early 2013. For Steve art gives
him the freedom to work without boundaries, to do whatever he wants, no
constraints, no brief, no amendments, no clients believing they know
better. It's a freedom to work and explore in a manor not possible
within the life design.
Steve has built a popular following on social networking sites such as
Instagram.

After being influenced by the eclectic music and more importantly
videos of Aphex Twin, The Beastie Boys, and Bjork in the late nineties
Copyright decided to study photography and video production at his
local college. It was here that he discovered a seemingly limitless
supply of art materials he could ‘borrow’ to create his own paintings.
It was soon after he had his own eureka moment when he realised he
could turn his photographs into stencils. Over the last decade
Copyright has been invited to show his work worldwide including sell
out solo shows in London and Tokyo and most recently his Precious
Damage show which saw him sell all 50 works in 3 hours.

progressed from having a massive following of online fans, to creating
T-shirt and phone case designs, and is now breaking into the gallery

Candice Tripp:
Candice Tripp moved from her native Cape Town, South Africa, to London
in 2004. Like the realm of traditional fairytales, the world of South
African born Candice Tripp is both magical and macabre.
In this domain, melancholic children and all manner of beasts are
executed in oil and ink; it is a place where both joy and sorrow are as
sharp as swords.
Childlike subjects add a sense of innocence to her work, though it is
executed with a brutal wit that is unquestionably adult. Beautiful,
illustrative, and dark, it is the very strangeness and richness of
these figures that beckons us into their enchanted world.
Sedate children and their animal companions are stylishly executed in
miniature, and give vision to the lessons and warnings of fables.

‘The idea behind the website was to set up a forum for Buddhism and
Buddhists.
I have studied spirituality and specifically Buddhism for many years,
although not an expert, am a keen observer and follower of this ancient
and malleable philosophical tradition.
The website will, also, endeavour to incorporate all religious and
spiritual traditions..
Conservation is the obvious practical transition combining
spirituality, beauty in nature and a willingness to ‘put your money
(and time) where your mouth is’ and make a real effort to experience,
enjoy and enhance the local environment.
The title ‘thisfloatingworld’ combines from the Buddhist notion of a
floating, impermanent and ever changing world, the English translation
being ‘pictures of a floating world’
I hope this website acts as a forum for discussion and like-minded
people
who want to make a spiritual and ecological difference
