Geologic Evolution
Purpose: Examine real world examples of geologic evolution at convergent, divergent, and transform
boundaries
1. Go to this website: http://geology.com/plate-tectonics.shtml
2. Look at the map of the world and click on the red balloons to see
information about the different tectonic plate boundaries.
3. Use this information you find in the balloon and on the map to fill in
your chart! The first one is done for you.
**BE CAREFUL not to zoom in TOO far when you are making your
observations! Tectonic plates are BIG things and you can make better
observations if you click on the zoom in button 4-5 times instead of 10
times!!**
