Idea
A Telescopic View:
The purpose of the OdishaGateway.org is to build a research database, a repository of facts for encouraging awareness among our population which in turn can empower them to form a telescopic vision of where we want to be in short and long term. To achieve that goal we will pull together all available facts about a few selected areas and gradually expand the horizon. The outcome will be published through a limited review, on this web site and paper media. The plan here is to provide fundamentals to support an idea. We only provide data in a consistent and organized manner for the society builders to use these data and perhaps use us for further research to support what they want to achieve. We present ourselves as an independent research organization to provide research materials to support the state and society builders, who in our view are the government, educational institutions, and industries. We have access to world class Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) if that is what our society builders need to engage with to further the issues.

Description Area
Countries like France, Japan, USA, and even China have projected negative demographic impact of limiting population growth based merely on numbers. Odisha's population is larger than those of some countries' (like Canada). There are sufficient data available to build scenarios for Odisha by extrapolating these available data. We hope to then get grant(s) from Odisha government probably to build up a Modeling and Simulation Tool that the government can maintain and keep updating as future data are collected and fed into the system. We can even be a partner with the government for this continuing task and look for grants from other sources.

Odisha government unspent money for poor people housing
Definition of poor
Odisha gets $4,000. crores/year from the center to build these houses. Even last year
Odisha could only spend $1,000. returning the rest to the center. This year the central government has told Odisha there can even be more money this year if they spend it all.
Can we quickly research and find causes of this and recommend government, perhaps partner with them by bringing in automation from US or other parts of India, and/even contract with them to solve this problem? We still have 8 months to spend this money.
Offering SMEs to actually supporting the government to execute this important program.

 Plan to develop payments in OdishaGateway (OG) currency later to convert into real currency as funds become available
