more experience than any other students in the school system. Imagine using that
experience to shape the curriculum.
Write a letter that I can use as a teacher’s guide for you personally. Tell me the inside
scoop regarding your expectation of me and this class, your strengths as an English student, your
knowledge of British culture, etc.


Remind students to complete the back of the overview from Friday now that they have
textbooks. Spend some time teaching the writing skills if there’s time after the test.

In eight groups (one for each of our time periods), students should read the background
