Case History – Incentive Program
Program Overview
XYZ Corporation invited 700 attendees on a 6 night incentive program to Barcelona, Spain. The
attendees were made up of 350 of the year's top sales managers, company executives, corporate staff
and their guests. An incentive trip is used every year by XYZ Corporation as an effective tool to
encourage the sales team to compete and reach goals. This was the second year SPG planned XYZ
Corporation’s incentive program.

Program Overview
XYZ Corporation brought a total of 300 participants from 5 different North American regions to
Ft. Lauderdale, FL to learn the message:
“A Step Ahead” Listen, Respond, Deliver
The goal for XYZ Corporation was to re-introduce the idea of the customer and the importance of
the customer. They accomplished this by using a variety of formats: General Sessions with
exciting Guest Speakers, Interactive Breakout Sessions, Creative Message Communication and
unique Theme Events.

Program Overview
There are four major golf tournaments on the PGA tour and perhaps the most famous and prestigious is
The Masters. XYZ Corporation brought 50 customers to Masters Golf Tournament in Augusta, Georgia.
The goal of this client appreciation event was to build customer relations, offer a sense of gratitude for
past business and open the door on future business. In addition, The Masters Golf Tournament is a
difficult ticket to obtain, therefore this is a well received invitation and one enjoyed by golfers and nongolfers alike.
