We used MATLAB to plot a graph of the vibration. Once it reaches a particular threshold an alarm is set off. POWER MANAGEMENT SYSTEM using W ireless Sensor Network Description: Our team used a module called FlyPort made by the company OpenPICUS. The OpenPICUS group gave us a set of libraries and an IDE which enabled us to build an application for power management. Wireless control of fan and lights was enabled and monitoring of temperature sensor wirelessly was enabled. M.TECH PROJECTS: ATHEROSCLEROSIS DETECTION USING MUSIC Description: ECG signal is used to change the tempo of polyphonic music. DESIGN & DEVELOPMENT OF ARM BASED REAL TIME EMBEDDED SYSTEM FOR INTELLIGENT PREDICTION OF VIBRATION ENERGY IN AUTOMOTIVE ENGINE SYSTEM (under Dr H.D.Sharma in CSIR-Central Electronics Engineering Research Institute, Pilani) Description : A network of ARM microcontrollers belonging to different families is used to sense the vibrations generated by an automobile engine. The energy produced by these vibrations is simulated and an estimate of the energy produced is provided and communicated to a single control unit through CAN. Linear Prediction Algorithm is used to predict the amount of energy that can be produced in a span of 30 milliseconds. ACHIEVEMENTS Abstract for atherosclerosis detection using music selected for INTEL INDIA EMBEDDED CHALLENGE 2012 PUBLICATIONS Paper titled “ATHEROSCLEROSIS DETECTION USING MUSIC” accepted in Int. Conf. on Computer Science and Information Technology(ICCSIT-2012) Bhopal, March 3,2012 Paper titled “ARM Based Automatic Control System of Nano Positioning Stage for Micromanufacturing” accepted in SCAI conference in Delhi –May 24-26,2013.
