Something called the judgment of Paris is the most
popular reason for what started it.
An apple would be given to the goddess who Paris
thought would be the “Fairest.”
This was between Aphrodite(The goddess of love),
Hera(The goddess of marriage), and Athena ( The
Goddess of Wisdom)
You could think of it as a beauty contest between them.
Paris named Aphrodite fairest because she promised
him that she would make most beautiful woman on
Earth fall in love with him.

Now to where Paris captures Helen. Aphrodite
now had to carry out her promise, so she made
Cupid shoot an arrow toward Helen making
her fall in love with Paris. There is one problem
though, Helen was queen of Sparta, so Paris
had capture Helen and bring her to Troy. This
could cause a war but Paris doesn’t pay
attention. So Paris goes to Sparta under a
“peace” mission and captures Helen.



Hector : heir to Trojan throne, best soldier troy
had. Eldest son to King Priam of Troy and Hecuba.
He was the leader of the Trojans.
Paris: Paris was the son of King Priam of Troy and
Queen Hecuba. Hecuba had a dream about the
great trouble her unborn child would cause, but
she did nothing. He is also the cause of the Trojan
War. People also say that he was a coward
Helen: The wife of Menelaus of Sparta. Abducted
by Paris and lived with him. Helen is one of the
main reasons for a ten-year war between the
Greeks and Trojans.



Achilles: he is the Hero and most powerful soldier
for the Greeks or Achaeans. He was trained by
Chiron and his only weakness was his heel. He
was killed by Paris though. He is the person who
killed Hector.
Agamemnon: the leading king of the Greek forces
in the Trojan War. He was the king of kings as
homer says in the Iliad.
Menelaus :Menelaus was the king of Sparta and
brother of Agamemnon. His wife was Helen and
he managed to survive this entire war and after it.

Homer: Author of Iliad, and he is one of the
only people who wrote about the Trojan war.
The Iliad is one of the only living texts of The
Trojan War to this day.

The Trojan horse is the reason for Greece to
win the Trojan war. The Greeks hid in the
horse and the people of troy took them inside
the city. Then the Greeks came out and
attacked the Trojans making them fall.









The plot of the Trojan war is this:
Paris abducts Helen
Greeks arrive at Troy and take the beach.
Achilles refuses to fight forcing the Greeks to start
to loose.
10 Years pass.
Achilles friend attacks Hector and is killed
Achilles gets very angry and kills Hector.
Then Odysseus gets the idea of the Trojan horse
and attacks Troy destroying it
During the battle Paris kills Achilles and Achilles
kills Paris.

After the war tons of leaders died because they
didn’t correctly sacrifice to the gods. One of the
only leaders who survived was Menelaus and
Helen.
