It means that since the day I was born, till now I have three books written by me. These are my three books, they are cooking books “Cake cats” “Dinner with cats” “Cats and dogs, what is tastier?” Now you know that I have written three books I wrote the first one in 1998 “Cake cats” I wrote the second one in 2001 “Dinner with cats” I wrote the last one in 2007 “Cats and dogs, what is tastier?” So, when I want to specify the specific time in the past I use the PAST SIMPLE • PAST TIME is used with adverbs of time and time expressions, as for example – Yesterday – Last month / week / year / … – In 1998 / 2009 / 2013… – One hour AGO – When I was twelve … • PRESENT PERFECT is used to talk about actions in the past, in general, without specifyng the time. Sometimes you can use some adverbs, such as …. – EVER / NEVER – RECENTLY – LATELY … Sometimes TODAY / THIS WEEK / THIS MONTH are used to indicate an unfinished time period I have come back from London today So, you can compare this situations I’ve travelled all around the world I travelled to Rome last summer She has bought a new house She bought a new house in June GAME I’m going to give you a paper with a chart.
