He oversees corporate security and facility operations including business continuity planning, intellectual property protection, global threat assessment, compliance, risk management, and safety. Matt works collaboratively with the other major movie studios in content protection and ongoing anti-piracy efforts. Prior to this, he spent 15 years in law enforcement in a variety of assignments including managing investigations. Among others, he investigated a wide variety of crimes including kidnappings for ransom and complex financial crimes with an emphasis in high technology. He is currently pursuing his doctorate from USC with an emphasis in how emerging technology is changing the world of corporate security. He earned his MA in public administration from USC and he earned his BA in sociology from the University of Michigan. Dienes-Middlen heads the Intellectual Property Group of the Business & Legal Affairs Department of World Wrestling Entertainment, Inc. (WWE). Christina Monteiro Counsel NBC Universal Christina Monteiro serves as Counsel at NBCUniversal in its Trademark Group. She engages in all aspects of trademark, unfair competition, domain name and related intellectual property practice for diverse NBCUniversal divisions, including its premier motion picture company, valuable portfolio of entertainment television networks, digital and interactive media, consumer products, and theme parks. She serves on the Executive Committee and as a Trustee of The Copyright Society of the USA, on the Trademark Reporter Committee of the International Trademark Association, and formerly served on the Trademark and Unfair Competition Committee of the New York City Bar Association. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from Fairfield University and her Juris Doctor from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law, where she was a member of the Moot Court Honor Society. In addition, he has managed complex intellectual property licensing and litigation in various international proceedings, U.S. federal courts and the U.S. International Trade Commission and has also provided counsel regarding cross-border trade, customs, and outreach to foreign governments on intellectual property matters. He is also an inventor or co-inventor on pending patents dealing with mobile applications, augmented and virtual reality, gaming and anti-counterfeiting technology. Mr. Pierce is a graduate of the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, served as an infantry officer in the U.S. Army, and attained the rank of Captain prior to going to the George Washington University Law School.
