We welcome Ms. Kristin to Ready Set Learn!
We have worked with Kristin Lovin for a number of years and she is an
invaluable part of our team much like Ms. Christine. Ms Kristin has an
Early Childhood Education degree. She taught in HeadStart programs
in Colorado including special education. She had an in-home
preschool of her own and has worked in a preschool in Columbia for
the last 2 1/2years. She has a wonderful husband, Alan, who is busy
with work and coaching their children in multiple sports. Kristin and
Alan have three children – Connor, 7, who is busy trying every activity
they let him, Teagan, 10, who loves gymnastics, and Alexander, 13, who
plays lots of baseball. She will be teaching in the infant toddler wing on
M/W/F and the 4 year old classroom on T/TH.
We imagine we will be hiring another teacher very soon and someone
to assist us in opening and closing the center. If you know anyone who
may be interested, please have him/her email a resume to
readysetlearncomo@gmail.com. Thanks!

Hello RSL families! My name is Hayley Yaglom, and I will be
teaching the infant/toddler class on Tuesday/Thursday
mornings. I am currently a second year graduate student at
Mizzou studying public health with a veterinary emphasis. I grew
up in New York, and went to the University of Massachusetts for
my undergraduate and first masters degree, both of which are in
the animal sciences. I babysit and tutored a great deal while in
high school, but when I was at college, I stepped into my
teaching shoes. I spent two years as a first/second grade
Hebrew school teacher, as well as played a role in running a
summer camp for three years connected with the same school. I
have always enjoyed working with children, of all ages, and I
value and interactive education, especially from an early age.
My favorite activities include arts & crafts, science, and cooking.
I am thrilled to be a part of the RSL team and look forward to
working with your children.
Paperwork, Paperwork, Paperwork
In the near future, we will be double checking every
child’s file.
We are required to keep certain
documentation on file for state licensing, and other
documents we need for our information. We will
be looking for the following forms for each child
and will let you know if we are missing anything.
Thank you for your cooperation in ensuring we
have all the proper forms on file.
• Completed enrollment form – front and back
• Current Medical Exam Report
• Current Immunization Records
• Important Child Information Sheet
We love to acknowledge and
celebrate our friend’s birthdays at
school and in our newsletter. You
are welcome to bring special treats to
school for snack for your child’s
class to celebrate a birthday. In our
newsletter, we will list the child’s first
and last name and his/her birthday
(not the year). If you do not want
your child’s birthday included in our
newsletter (the newsletter is on our
website), please let us know. Thanks
• Completed Tuition Agreement
• Signed Media Policy Form
• Signed Parent Handbook Form
• Summer Survey – Our latest request
We are sending home a survey asking what your
needs may be for summer preschool. Please return
this from by Feb. 14. Thanks

Parent Handbook Amendment!
Due to staffing and facility conditions,
children must be potty trained and
accident free AT SCHOOL for 2 weeks
before the child may move up to the 3
year old classroom.
Please note: children will move up to age appropriate classes
based upon availability as well as social and academic
development, not necessarily on their birthday.
Thank you so much
to so many families
~~ SNOW DAYS ~~
Ready Set LEARN! will close if
Columbia Public Schools closes for
inclement weather. Please watch local
stations for school closings. We will try
to call in with Ready Set Learn
closings, and send an email, but
remember if CPS is closed so are we! As
stated in the parent handbook, there are
no refunds for snow days, and we
cannot offer make up days.
for all the donations
including extra
clothes, markers,
glue sticks, googly
eyes, play doh, play
doh tools, etc., etc.,
etc. We greatly
appreciate your
support!!!
Our daily snack and lunch menus are posted on
our website www.readysetlearnpreschool.com,
and are subject to change without notice. We
must serve snacks and lunches which meet
certain nutritional guidelines set forth by the
state childcare licensing department. We are
trying different recipes to see what the majority
of the children will enjoy. Thank you for your
patience as we create nutritional and enjoyable
options for our students.
We will begin an ink cartridge collection
fundraiser. Please bring your old/used ink
cartridges and drop them in the box in the
entry way . Thank you
