Advanced Engineering Apprenticeships
Edinburgh
At our mail centres and offices up and down the country, we sort, on average, 58 million items each day,
which involves using some amazing technology. To maintain and develop this, and come up with new ways
to improve the sorting process, we have a large and dedicated team of engineers –around 1,000 in all. Most
of them based in mail centres and offices across the country.
When it comes to this programme our apprentices are among the highest performing in engineering
disciplines in the country. We have been named Employer of the Year by our training partner and our most
talented apprentices have won awards for practical and academic achievement, beating strong opposition in
the process.
Entry requirements
In terms of qualifications, we’ll expect at least five National 5s, including Maths, English and Science, at
grade C or above. But every bit as important as your academic achievements will be the personal qualities,

The cost will be £84 per pupil including bus and match ticket.
The Yard in Edinburgh received £52,557 from Children in Need in
2013. The money provides supported play sessions for disabled
children and their families in a purpose built centre. It reduces
isolation, improves well being and gives the whole family a chance
to make friends with others in the same situation.
Please click the link to watch how this money changed the life of
one girl and her family and donate generously at break today.
Thank you!
