Membership Requirements • Maintain at least 83% GPA • Lead at least 1 SSP event within the first year of induction • 4 SSP service hours per semester • 3rd and 4th year students only need 4 service hours per year SSP Awards • Sigma Sigma Phi Outstanding Scholar Award • Members that have a 92% average GPA after 2 years • Sigma Sigma Phi Outstanding Service Award • Awarded on a semester basis for the member that has the most SSP service hours • Awards can be included in the Dean’s Letter Service Events • We strongly encourage our members to seek out needs in the community then recruit volunteers to fulfill that need. This gives SSP a greater diversity in serving the community. • The Eta Chapter has teamed up with numerous community organizations, so our members don’t usually have trouble finding leadership or volunteering events.
