Teacher on Assignment
What really matters in Unit Five?
• Who are Dr. King & Jackie Robinson?
• Why do we remember them today?
• How did where they lived affect
them?
• How did they influence our state &
nation (even today)?
• What choices did they have to make?
• What were the results of those
choices (positive & negative)?
• How are our lives different from
theirs?
In addition:
*Use Unit Five as a review
of economics concepts
like scarcity & opportunity
cost.
*Review the regions of
Georgia to discuss
differences in where Dr.
King & Jackie Robinson
lived in the state.
*Movement (as a
geographical concept) is
very important in the lives
