Why do the moose change their Horns?

Horns

• The first bull elk's antlers begin to grow as calf’s boy, the head end of the second year of life increased by up to twenty eight inches long beep bills. In the third year of life may already boast a young bull horns for two. During the life of the branches still attached. One horn could be even the branches; they usually are, however, only a dozen adult bulls. Food shortages and sickness are not necessarily accompanied by branches, some may even resolve. The same happens in very old animals. For the winter elk horns declines. Bulls to the trees and bushes, until the proud jewels on the ground, because the horns, one would find themselves often in a young body and trees areas. New antlers begin to grow in April, and reach full size about three months. Skin that covers the horns at the beginning of young people is rubbed off against trees.
