MegaTron and MegaTrons SS Water Treatment’s Most User Friendly Web Capable Controllers Menu and Keypad •User friendly ATM menu •16 lines of information •20 button keypad •Set everything from keypad System Approach • MegaTron “system” approach for 1 to 4 independent systems • MegaTron SS for single system control • • • • • • • • • Conductivity Temperature pH ORP 2 water meter inputs Flow switch input 5 additional digital inputs Up to 5 chemical feed timers Make-up conductivity (on full size MegaTron) Conductivity Control • 1 Point Calibration • Bleed Limit Timer • Cycles Control with Make-up Conductivity • Boiler sampling: Continuous, Timed, Sample and Hold ORP and pH • Set point control including individually set alarms and limit timers • ORP interlocked with a 28-day timer • pH feed interrupted by other chemical feed timers • LSI or RSI values displayed Chem Feed Timers • Pulse Timer with Accumulator • Percent Timer • Post Bleed % Timer with Limit • Limit Timer • 28-day Timer Auxiliary Flow Meter Inputs • Auxiliary flow meter inputs are available to track various flow meter devices like the FloTracker in a metering pump’s discharge line. • Historically track chemical or water usage with low level alarms, no flow alarms for pump loss prime or no bleed off flow. • Maintain a set PPM for chemical feed by tracking chemical cycles of concentration, make-up water and chemical addition. Relay Flexibility • The main box holds up to 10 relays and the controller can control up to 20 relays with 11-20 housed in additional boxes. • What activates each relay can be defined by the user from all of the available control functions on the unit. This means you can have pH monitoring but not have a relay assigned to it. • Multiple functions can be set to activate a relay or force it off, allowing for special control logic. Service Notepad Each of the up to 4 systems have 10 Service Notepad items for storing user entered data such as testing results that can have a user defined name, number range, unit of measure, high alarm, low alarm and time interval alarm for the next expected manually enter data. The Service Notepad can be used to enter manually tested readings like chemical residual, raw water chemistry, hand held tester readings into the MegaTron. The MegaTron will then keep a record of them for history reporting and alarming. Water Meter Inputs •Each system card can have 2 water meter inputs. Each will store the hourly average for the past 24 hours, the daily average for the past 60 days reviewable at the unit via the onboard history plus have a running total. •Systems with two active water meter inputs can calculate evaporation with that value also stored in history. •The Units of Measure can be set for Gallons per Contact or Pulses per Gallon allowing for easy configuration for paddle wheel or contacting head meters. 4-20 mA • MegaTron units can have eight 4-20mA inputs and MegaTron SS three. All have a user defined unit of measure, number range, name, set point, high alarm and low alarm and can activate a relay. • Common 4-20mA inputs are level, corrosion, fouling, flurometer and other special sensors or monitors. • MegaTron can have up to six 4-20mA outputs, MegaTron SS three with the user selecting the source from all analog inputs. Digital Inputs • 1 Flow Switch input per system card. Choose activation (open / closed), limit probe alarm outputs to only when system has flow and select if timers can run with or without flow. • 5 Digital Inputs can be given a custom name and can activate or deactivate relays.
