We are all committed to a shared vision That all our children grow up in stable, nurturing families and safe, supportive communities that promote healthy development and provide opportunities for children, youth and adults to achieve their full potential as caring, responsible, and productive members of society. In the last 5 years, through the Family Resources Centers… We Served: 71,997 Individuals 31,614 34,812 Families Children We are all committed to a shared vision In 5 years FRCs served: 72,000 individuals Core Services Provided Personal Empowerment Program 2,226 Parenting 3,178 Differential Response 3,571 Counseling 4,862 # people Case Management Team Services 14,042 Family Advocacy 18,913 0 5,000 10,000 15,000 20,000 Commission Investments Our FRC platform has benefitted from several innovative programs funded by the Children and Families Commission of Orange County through our administrative partner, Orangewood Children’s Foundation: • ProjectConnections.FRC Health Access • CONNECT • AmeriCorps/AmeriCorps*VISTA program • Orange County Capacity Building Program FRCs: Masters of Leverage FaCT and the FRCs have been able to leverage FaCT funding with other funds and resources including in kind donations and services. The report was published nationally and featured 5 California Agencies. Grant and the La Habra Community Action Council along with 300 volunteers built a playground at Guadalupe Park. • Received the Helmet Mini Grant distributing and fitting over 800 helmets. *Lead Agency La Habra Family Resource Center • Received the Community Building Initiative (CBI) grant , strengthening their CAC (aka La Habra Action Council) in leadership, policy and advocacy within the La Habra community. • The FRC Project Connections/ Health Access team hosted Annual (Eggstravaganza) Health Fairs averaging an annual attendance of over 1,000 people. Trained as Trainers in teaching the Ten Educational Commandments Skills in governance, member recruitment, community engagement, strategic planning, professional etiquette and events! over 50 Community Action Council Members Earned Certificates from Cal State Long Beach through Leadership Development and Capacity Building classes Technical Assistance Highlights Supporting our FRCs with high quality, targeted training, powerful data and evaluation tools, and individualized technical assistance.
