Overview All information detailing how to enter this competition forms part of these terms and conditions. It is a condition of entry that all rules are accepted as final and that the entrant agrees to abide by these rules. Submission of an entry will be taken to mean acceptance of these terms and conditions. The information given in these Terms and Conditions is correct, but the University reserve the right to change any of the above without prior notice. General This competition is open to all students of Nottingham Trent University (including: visiting students and NTU students currently on study exchange, traineeships, or volunteering abroad) Prizes consist of: 1st prize £100 Amazon.co.uk vouchers 2nd prize £50 Amazon.co.uk vouchers 3rd prize £25 Amazon.co.uk vouchers • There is no cash or other alternative to the prize stated and the prize is not transferable and no part or parts of the prize may be substituted for other benefits, items or additions. • The University reserves the right to change the prizes at any time. • Entries are free-of-charge. • Entries needs to be submitted to IEO@ntu.ac.uk • All entries must be received by the advertised closing date. Winners' names may be published on the website and on the University's social media pages. • The competition is not open to judges of this competition. • The University reserves the right not to award prizes if, in the opinion of the judges and organizers, the entries fall below the standard required by the competition. • The decision of the judges is final and no correspondence will be entered into. Judging Stage 1. International Exchange Office will select 30 pictures from all the students entries. 30 pictures will be printed in A3 format and used for the “My International Experience” Photo Exhibition 2016, which will be displayed to the public on each campus: City Site, Brackenhurst Campus and Clifton Campus during Global Week 29 February - 4 of March 2016. Stage 2. 30 entries will be subjected to final judging by NTU Students and Staff, which will take place during Global Week 29 February - 4 of March 2016 at Nottingham Trent University. At the end of Global Week winners will be announced via NTU Global Lounge Facebook https://www.facebook.com/NTUGlobalLounge/?fref=ts Winners will be contacted via email within 7 days after Global Week. It is the responsibility of each entrant to ensure that any images they submit have been taken with the permission of the subject and do not infringe the copyright of any third party. Entrants must warrant that they own the copyright for the photograph and that their entry does not infringe the privacy rights, copyright or any other rights of any person. The entrant warrants that they have obtained permission of those pictured in the image (or, where the image shows any persons under 18, the consent of their parent/guardian) for the usage rights required by the competition and will indemnify the University against any claims made by any third parties in respect of such infringement. Copyright in all images submitted for this competition remains with the respective entrants. However, in consideration of their providing the Competition, each entrant grants a worldwide royalty free perpetual license to the Nottingham Trent University (and its affiliates) to feature any or all of the submitted images in any and all media (including print and online) for publicity and marketing purposes. If your image is accepted, we will publish your name alongside it wherever used as part of the Photo Competition. Note that this accreditation will not be possible with use of your photo in any and all media (including print and online) outside the context of this Photo Competition. The organizers and judges reserve the right to remove any entries from the competition that they feel may breach or contravene laws of public decency or may bring the photographer or the competition into disrepute. Such entries will be deemed as void. This includes images that may be offensive, previously published, copyrighted (by somebody other than the entrant) or otherwise contrary to the spirit of the competition. Photos may also not be accepted into the competition if the focus of the photo is an identifiable individual who has not given their consent to appear or if photos feature advertising or trademarks which would otherwise require the University to obtain permission to use or would contravene rules which may govern University publications.
