fashion victims in every city ,but no more than any other cities in the world!
In Italy there is the Mafia
Unfortunately, this is not a stereotype even if we do not live following Al capone style!
Movies like “Il Padrino” or tv serials like “Gomorra” have created the idea that Mafia and
camorra are everywhere. This is not true at all!The Italian Mafia exists just like every
other organised crime in every country around the world. It does not consume every day
life in Italy.
Italians are good Lovers

it is true considering the myth of “Don Giovanni”!! but if we ask any nation that question

Italians talk a lot and they are always gesturing while talking talking

Italians eat a lot of pasta and pizza
This is true! Pasta and pizza make up a huge % of our diet. However Italian diet is made
of a variety of dishes .Italian food is world-famous and enjoyed in many countries and
our Pizza has become a “must” in any part of the world!
All Italians alway say “mamma mia”!
This is not really true. Maybe this idea comes from the famous musical “mamma mia”
and from The omonymous song written by Abba. Italians have typical expressions that
they are used to repeating, but they vary from region to region.
Most Italians are plumbers
This idea comes from the famous videogame “Mario Bros” where the main character is a
plumber, short and dark-haired with big dark moustache!
Italians are fotball addicts
This is not a stereotype. Italians are really crazy for football, they follow their favourite
teams and support them on any occasion.those who are really addicts, often take in their
wallet a photo or the autograph of their favorite football players.But we are all totally
committed to our national football team (the Squadra Azzurra).

This is typical of most Italians, especially those who live in southern regions.However
they are timely when they have professional meetings, but, in their private life, they are
often late.

This idea probably comes from the famous movie “Roman Holiday”, whre the two main
characters visit Rome on a “vespa”! In Italy scooters are widely used, actually good
weather allows Italian people to move around using scooters rather than cars.
Italian men always shout at women in the street
This is a bad stereotype! Italian men respect and take care of women. Italians speak very
loud in public .And maybe foreigners think we are fighting when we talk that way but it's
just the way we are.
Italians are very familiar and hung together.They are generous, sunny and
communicative people. They like to smile and talk a lot,especially drinking a good
“espresso”, or during meals... which can even last three hours!

It is not true that Czechs always eat in the public transport.
It is not even allowed to eat there. Actually, you can rarely see someone

Dumplings are typical food for Czechs but we don't eat them so often. Dumplings
are not so easy to prepare. There are more types of them: dumplings made from rolls,
potatoes or sweet dumplings which are filled with fruit.
Everyone has a dog
It´s not true that everyone in the Czech
Republic has a dog. In our country
there is about two milion dogs. And in the capital, Prague, there is about 150
thousand dogs. So it means every fifth person has a dog.

In Czech republic we celebrate Easter mainly
two days. In Sunday and Mondey. Sunday is in
signal enjoyment amd happienes of resurrection Jesus Christ. In churchs are

Yes, it´s true. I think a lot of people, especially young people, are ashamed for this
czech “habit“. Unfortunately it´s still popular for certain group of people.
Taking off shoes
I think that taking off shoes among the better part of czech habits. Used shoes to walk
at home is unhygienic. Honestly this idea scares me and I never go to the room with
my shoes.
Czech people love nature
It´s little bit true. In Czech republic there was a popular trend to go to the Cottage.
People had some cottage in village and they went there for the weekend. It was some
way how to relax.
Czech girls are very beautiful, blond and tall
It’s half true. We are beautiful, but we are not all blond and tall. You saw our class
and nobody from us are blond and only three girls are tall. We think, it’s not typical
to be blond and tall when you are czech girl. But you’re right, we are beautiful.
Czech guys have a moustache
You’re absolutelly wrong. Some men have a moustache, but it’s not typical for czech
boys/men. We think it’s more typical for polish men than ours men. There is the
same like in another country, somebody have a moustache somebody not, it doesn’t
matter of nationality.

The stereotype of the berets has been created by the United Kingdom in the 50’s, they were some French called

average of other people. In terms of food, we spent more 130 minutes at the
