learning about bacteria.
Go over the homework and learn about genetic
recombination, transformation, and transduction. Hand
out bacteria to practice labeling.

Answer OYO (On Your Own) questions 2.1-2.3. Read
from OYO 2.3 up to OYO 2.6. Answer OYO questions
2.4-2.7. Start learning any vocabulary words right
away. Don’t wait until just before the test. You will be
in trouble. Make lists, use note cards, just don’t wait
until the night before a test.

Read from OYO 2.7 up to OYO 2.9. Answer OYO
questions 2.8-2.9. Also answer study guide questions
#1(a-l). You might want to leave room on your paper
to finish part m and n when you learn them.
Friday
Read page 52 through page 57. You do not need to
read experiment 2.1. then answer OYO questions 2.102.14. Practice your vocabulary!!!!!!!! Then answer
study guide questions 2-10. You may practice labeling
the bacteria on the paper I gave you to help learn parts
of the bacteria.
Notes to Parents: Please remind your child not to wait until the night
before the test to learn material. Biology is significantly harder than
Physical Science.
