Project goals and objectives:
 To create a stable two-way network «University – media industry» (the
Dortmund model), thanks to which there appears mutually beneficial situation
for all sides involved and graduates are supplied with working places due to
signed contracts.
 To create a system of uniting studying programmes throughout Europe, which
stand as a sample.
 To create a network «Communicative sciences – media politics», which will
consistently contribute to the connection with the sphere of media politics.
Activities:
 Evaluation of all significant studying programmes in the partner countries.
 Evaluation of activities and needs of mass media.
 Development and promotion of modernized journalistic studying programme
which contribute to job placement and Europeanization.
 Carrying out trainings for teachers and students.
 Formation a system of network cross-media working stations in partner
universities.
 Testing practical contents of the studying programme in summer schools and at
seminars.
 Excursions in media-centres in Berlin and Brussels.
 Public popularization of the project.
Expected results:
I. Making the general unified international programme of studying in the branch of
journalism.
II. Increase in job placement among the graduates of Universities.
III. Upgrading the current curricula in the branch of journalism and mass
communication according to recent advances.
IV. Consistency of University studying of journalists.
V. Trained academic staff in the new curricula methodologies and disciplines.
VI. Dissemination of project results.
