Welcome
‘Praying round the Presbytery.’
As the Presbytery Prayer Co-ordinator,, I have
put together this booklet using the Area
Groupings to help us pray for the work &
witness of congregations in Gordon
Presbytery and also the various Presbytery
Committees.
Sunday
Monday
Come all you people ,come and praise your
Maker,
Come now and worship the Lord.
For this is the day that the Lord has made,
let us rejoice and be glad in it.
Forth in thy name, O Lord, I go,
my daily labour to pursue,
thee ,only thee, resolved to know
in all I think, or speak, or do.

Each day us allows to decide for good,
loving and serving as we know we should;
in thankful giving, in hopeful living, we belong to
God.
Till earth is over may we always know,
love never fails us: God has made it so.
Hard times will prove us, never remove us; we
belong to God.
(CH4/726)
God who sets us on a journey
to discover, dream and grow,
Lead us as you led your people
in the desert long ago;
Journey inward, journey outward,
stir the spirit, stretch the mind;
Love for God and self and neighbour,
marks the way that Christ defined.

My song is love unknown,
my Saviour’s love to me,
love to the loveless shown,
hat they might lovely be.
Oh, who am I, that for my sake,
my Lord should take frail flesh and die?
Here might I stay and sing: no story so divine;
never was love , dear King,
never was grief like thine!
This is my Friend, in whose sweet praise ,
I all my days could gladly spend.(CH4/399)
