You need to apply and gather evidence from your workplace an RTO or in another training environment which you have negotiated with your assessor prior to course commencement. Assessment Outline This unit typically applies to a person with technical or vocational expertise who is in a supervisory or mentoring/coaching work role and for whom collecting evidence for assessment is an adjunct to principal work responsibilities. As part of the assessment for this unit you need to develop a portfolio of evidence to show that you have contributed to an assessment process. To satisfactorily demonstrate competence you need to Carry out a minimum of three evidence gathering activities, with different candidates for each activity Present documentation of the evidence in a clear and concise manner Present documented feedback from others who have been involved in the assessment The assessment for this unit will comprise: Collection of documented /workplace evidence as identified in Task 1 , 2 and 3 Responses to questions identified in Task 4 Third Party Report completed by the qualified assessor who you have consulted with in the process of contributing to the assessment process or your supervisor/manager who has been part of the consultative process. Retention of Learners Assessments Your completed assessments will be retained for the duration of your course and an additional 6 months for auditing purposes. If you require access to submitted materials during this 6 month period please keep a copy of your work and keep for your own use during this time. Resources In undertaking this assessment you will need access to your workplace policies and procedures and relevant assessment system policy and procedures if you are working with an RTO or other training institution.
