IMPORTANT INFORMATION
All distance students are expected to sit their final exam on campus. If you are unable to do so, you
must obtain approval from the School before the Census date.
If an exam is to be sat externally, a student must sit their exam at an approved Examination Venue if they
reside/work within 40km of the venue. Please note that there is a fee payable to the chosen venue and the
School will not pay for this service.
An approved examination venue is any University or Higher Education Institution.
It is the student’s responsibility to make contact with and confirm the examination venue. It is also the
student’s responsibility to pay for the Examination Venue fee.
If you cannot sit your exam on campus or at an approved University or examination venue, you may nominate
a Supervisor upon the School’s approval. You cannot use this form to nominate a Supervisor. The
Supervisor nomination form will only be provided upon the School’s approval.
WHEN TO SUBMIT THIS FORM


Semester 1: From 1 April to 10 May
Semester 2: From 1 September to 10 October
Failure to submit your nomination form within the dates mentioned above will result in you not being
able to complete the final examination.
