with a little intervention on her part, Hai and Lan might make a good couple and she could become

CPF shall produce theatrical feature films with 6 -12-month investment cycle. At completion, the
film will be theatrically distributed nationwide in Vietnam by CPF; Next, DVD release

markets will be explored afterward. With the production and distribution of The Rebel and many

Founded in 1995 under the name of Cinema Pictures in Westminster, California, Chánh Phương
Films (CPF) produced numerous music videos, commercials, live concerts, television shows and
feature films. After ten years as one of the top Vietnamese American production company, CPF
branched out internationally and established its current presence in Vietnam.
Armed with a network of young and talented filmmakers who have been educated and trained in
some of the best film schools in the United States, CPF bursts on the Vietnam movie scene and
produced the run-away blockbuster The Rebel (2007), then followed by numerous other successful
titles subsequently: Owl and the Sparrow (2007), “14 Days (2008), Clash (2009), “Saigon Yo!”
(2010)…
CPF has also provided production services to many foreign filmmakers from the U.S., Russia, Italy,
Korean, etc… as well as domestic companies in Vietnam. By having one of the largest studio in
HCMC and a broad inventory of filmmaking equipment, it has created an incredible competitive
advantage for CPF.
During 2009, CPF was engaged to produce nearly 300 TV episodes for 2 TV stations in Vietnam. In
addition, many advertising agencies and private companies have also approached CPF to produce
commercials and CPF is in the process of developing a full-service commercials division.
