Application Fee is a once only payment and is non-refundable. This fee covers the cost of student assessment and application process. It is payable when an application is submitted to the Admission Office. Registration Fee is a one-time fee and is not refundable. Damage Deposit is a one-time fee and will be refunded when the student leaves the school, provided that the school has received 1 term’s (3 months) notice in writing of the intention to withdraw and no fees are outstanding. The damage deposit will be withheld if a student is asked to withdraw for disciplinary reasons. General Fees are levied every academic year. The fees are inclusive of school-based activities and most one-day fieldtrips. Book Deposit is refundable when the student graduates or resigns from the school if books are returned in satisfactory condition. Any damage or loss will be charged against this deposit. BC Ministry of Education Annual Student Registration Fee is a requirement of the BC Ministry of Education. Tuition Fee is payable either by semester (each ½ year) or annually. Sibling discounts are provided as follows: 2nd child 5% of tuition fee, 10% for 3rd child and 15% for 4th child off tuition fee. Tuition fees can be changed without notice. Meals are payable annually. Summer Programs are 4-week courses offered from March to July. Based on assessment results, students applying to BCISB may be required to take one or more summer ESL courses and/or a Preparation course. The fee includes lunch, activities at school and some supplies. Extracurricular are optional and, depending on the activity, parents may be required to pay fees for such items as instruction, testing accessories, special clothing. Uniforms are required and can be purchased from the school shop. Transportation Fee will be billed annually and in advance along with the tuition fee. The school reserves the right to change the Transportation Fee by giving 30 days prior notice. Annual Payment: Terms and conditions of payment will be stated on the invoice. Late Payment Charge: Account outstanding after the due date will be charged of 5% interest on each semester’s tuition fee. Refund Policy: · For students who have registered at BCISB for the first time and withdraw within 7 days after school opening full tuition fees will be refunded, with exception of items that have been used (e.g. uniform, workbooks). · For students who have previously attended BCISB and withdraw within 15 days after school opening full tuition fees will be refunded with the exception of items that have been used (e.g. uniform, workbooks).
