Over the next five years, the County Council is undertaking a significant programme of investment in
School and Early Years provision to meet demographic growth, housing developments and legislative

Reporting directly to the Fleet Operations Manager you will be responsible for managing our in house
fleet operations in Bridgwater, Taunton and Minehead providing transport for clients across a range of
services including Learning Disabilities, Special Educational Needs, Community Transport and
Demand Responsive Transport.
You will lead a team including Senior Transport Officers, Transport Officers, Drivers and Passenger
Assistants delivering these services on a daily basis. The role will include the management and
supervision of staff, ensuring safe and efficient operations are maintained to a high standard and within
budget.
You will need to demonstrate a proven record of management and supervision and will preferably have
a background in Passenger Transport Operations. A Certificate of Professional Competence in PCV

We have a vacancy for two Temporary Teaching Assistants to join our committed, friendly, energetic
and enthusiastic team -working mainly across the age range Foundation Stage to KS2. (Depending on

The role, will involve assisting with the educational and emotional support of individuals and very small
groups. The post on Wednesdays and Thursdays will also include, occasionally supporting whole

will also be considered).

We are looking to recruit an experienced IT Technical Specialist in the Network Security area with
expert with knowledge of security infrastructure tools/technologies within a complex distributed
computing environment, eg anti-virus, firewalls, intrusion protection/detection, VPNs, encryption,
remote access solutions, mobile working, alerting, monitoring and protective monitoring.

In this busy and interesting role, you will be involved in several high profile initiatives such as police

liaising with apprentices, managers and colleges to resolve any issues. You will provide advice to

post will be based within Preston Student Support team, working with students with speech, language
and communication difficulties. Within Preston Student Support Team there is a Lead SLCN TA who

communication therapist to join our successful SEN department to ensure that all students with SLCN
make progress and achieve their full potential.
