A self propelled unit that comprises of the following main components:
Hydraulically operated system, designed to move a platform and all the
components mounted thereon
Built in facilities for rolling stock
Conveyor, if applicable, for declines of 15° or less
Hopper/skip exchange slave winch
Hydraulic lateral jacks to anchor the platform
Stop blocks for hoppers/skips
Hydraulic excavator
Blast protection chain screen
Up ramp and rail track installation apparatus
Hydraulic portal drill rig for mechanised drilling option or handheld
drill machine bay

Face shovel - bottom discharge
Totally enclosed sliding floor of 3 main section. Width & length to suit specific
requirements. The width of the excavation will determine the set up of mucking
i.e. conveyor or hopper for inclination of 15° or less; hopper or skip for greater
inclinations. Hydraulic jacks incorporated in the main sections and are applied to
the sidewalls when expanding the slide floor to follow face advance
