Today’s Call Signaling Technologies
_ Signaling path and call path are the
same
_ Each switch must have all routing
information causing longer
implementations.
_ All calls traverse public PSTN
Enterprise
_ Signaling path and call path are
Separate
_ Lower management overhead as only
Gatekeepers or Route servers need to
have routing information
_ Only off-net calls must traverse the
public PSTN

What is IPVoice Connect?
Confidential & Proprietary
What is IPVoice Connect
IPVoice Connect allows you, the customer, to use your existing PBX ports,
regardless if they are TDM or IP to communicate, both inbound and outbound,
over the Tata Communications MPLS network with a world-class global
telephony infrastructure.
By using the MPLS network, your outbound calls will be routed to the nearest,
Enterprise quality, telephony gateway to ensure the best call quality, while
providing some of the best calling rates.
Your inbound calls will be gathered at the telephony gateway nearest to the
point of origin, then placing the call on the MPLS network we will route it
onwards to its’ final destination based on routing hierarchy you have
provided.
