Chief Telecom- founded in January 1991.
• Biggest carrier neutral IDC in Taiwan with over 360,000 sqft floor space and 30MW
capacity in 3 IDC buildings.
• The 1st and #1 IDC to customize-build and lease IDC to Global Carriers, ICPs, CDNs,
ECs and Enterprises.
• Services: IDC/ Telehouse, VoIP E.164, Global MPLS VPN (more than 30 PoPs in
China), IPLC, Taiwan domestic LLC, VPN, Internet, Cloud , Company Registration and
Telecom License Application.
• Operate the only Neutral/ Open Internet Exchange in Taiwan- TPIX.
• Acquired by Chunghwa Telecom (CHT) in 2006.
• Certified ISO 27001 and ISO 27011 since 2011.

(NCC) is the authority responsible for regulating telecommunications and
broadcasting services.
• The four policy goals of the NCC are (1) promote the sound development
of communications, (2) safeguard the rights of the people, (3) protect the
interests of consumers, and (4) raise multicultural diversity. These four
policy goals constitute the administrative principles of NCC.
• The four administrative beliefs of the NCC are (1) independence, (2)
responsibility, (3) balance, (4) maximum benefits for the public. The NCC
carries out the four policy goals in accordance with its administrative
beliefs. Together, they make up the administrative framework of NCC.
