Crackle Barrel
Head Chef - In charge of everyone below - Wash hands,
assign responsibilities to assistant cook and others, prepare
meals, and ensure all utensils used for cooking are clean.
Assistant Chef - Assist with meal as determined by Chef
Fire / Water Man - As directed by Head Chef: refill water jugs,
prepare hand washing station with warm water and rinse
water (use same tubs used for cleanup), clean fire pit, stack
wood, start charcoal 30 mins before cooking begins, keep hot
charcoal on-hand throughout cooking & cleanup. Keep fires
going throughout meal. Prepares Hot Water for clean up
before meal is over.
Kitchen Patrol (KP) - Wash all non-personal utensils and
cooking equipment (Each Scout washes his own personal
gear). Clear table and clean Patrol box. Clean and Oil Dutch
Oven. Set up garbage bags. Secure garbage bags at night and
start new one when one is full.
All Patrol Member Responsibilities - The whole patrol shares
campsite set up. After pitching individual tents, the Patrol
sets up a dining fly, shade pop-up and secure their food with
their Patrol box. Build a fire ring if Patrol fire rings will be
used. Gather wood for the weekend. Build any camp gadgets
agreed upon by the Patrol. At the conclusion of the camp out,
the site should be returned to the same condition it was in
with all trash carried out and brush returned where possible.
