this presentation we will look at the trends that are happening in the education
and consumer sectors. Daryl will share information on how your university or
company can get started with iOS development and join thousands of developers

A University perspective: teaching iOS as a core curriculum subject and securing
employment for students. Gordon University's iOS development programs have
grown and matured over time as they have first explored and then fully adopted
the mobile device operating system as a modern tool to teach core computing
concepts. Gordon's University is regularly connecting students with nearby
corporations to work on projects resulting in students being placed into mobile
computing jobs. The biggest area of impact that Gordon is seeing is in local oil
industry companies hiring students to convert old systems into modern touch
enabled apps.

share how easy it can be to get started with iOS development even without a full
computer science degree. You'll learn how Sergiy used various free online
materials and courses published through iTunes U to enhance and speed up his
own development process.
