(Sit the child on your lap, if they’re small, facing out and lift each of their legs
over the other in turn – only works if they go floppy enough! – then lift their legs
up high as they go over the style! Bigger children can put each of their legs over
the other in turn then lean back lifting their legs up high.)

(Hold five fingers up on one hand and pretend they are swimming along in front
of you, then disappear behind you. Use the other hand to be mummy duck
quacking for the ducks to return but when your other hand re-appears hold up
only four fingers. Continue like this until only one duck disappears behind you,
then have all five fingers returning when mummy duck says it’s time for tea)

(Childen can pretend to be a teddy bear, turning around, touching the ground
etc They can give someone a hug for ‘I love you’ and pretend to fall asleep on
