The PSAT is Wednesday, October 15
• The PSAT:
– Indicates your strengths and weaknesses in
preparation for taking the SAT.
– Allows you to compare yourself with other students
across the nation and is the qualifying test for the
National Merit Scholarship.
– Is practice for any national or state standard test for
post-high school placement at a college or career such
as the ACT, SAT, ASVAB, or Compass (the Spokane
Community Colleges entrance exam).
• In order to make PSAT Day as efficient as
possible, today we will pre-register by
completing the bubble sheet.
Bubble Sheet Completion
• Use a Number 2 pencil
• It is very important to completely and
accurately fill out the PSAT bubble sheet.
• Please follow these directions very carefully.
• Completely fill in the bubbles
• NEATLY fill in the text boxes
• Completely erase any errors
• If you have a question, please ask, rather than
guess on how to complete a section.

Final Step
• Teachers - please collect completed forms in
alphabetical order and return to Tracy van
Halderen the Student Office. Please make sure
the cover sheet is returned as well.
• Students - on PSAT Day (October 15), you will
start school at 8:00am as normal, but you will
need to look at the posters in the front hall for
your testing room assignment. More details will
be coming soon!
