 The book must be at least 200 pages in length.
 All books must be approved by Mrs. Faith.
 If you do not like the book you are reading, you may select another; however, it
must be approved by me.
Pacing Yourself:
You should make a plan for reading your book at a reasonable pace.
Don’t put it off until the last two weeks of the grading period.
Reading Logs:
Logs will be turned in reflecting on your book and your reading process: one after you
finish the first third of the book, one after the second third of the book, and one after
the last third of the book.
Reading Log Submission
 When submitting your reading logs, you are to submit them in the following order
(you will staple each new reading log to the bottom of your book choice form):
o Book Choice Form (top)
o Reading Log 1
o Reading Log 2
o Reading Log 3
INTERACTIVE READING LOG:
Three reflections on your book and your reading process will be completed: one after you
finish the first third of the book, one after the second third of the book, and one after you
complete the book. Reading logs should be typed. **Reading logs will be graded separately
from the project.
Each interactive response entry should be at least three paragraphs in length. You
can't be wrong in your responses, as these reflect your personal reactions to the text.
Take some risks and be honest.
Use the sample prompts to help you get
started with expressing your likes/dislikes, confusion, and observations. Use the
