Arguments
 Lineage of Jesus Christ
Matthew 1:2 – And Abraham begot Isaac, Isaac begot Jacob, and Jacob begot
Judah and his brothers….vs.16 Jesus
Luke 3:23 – Jesus…vs.34 The son of Jacob, the son of Isaac, the son of
Abraham, the son of Terah, the son of Nahor.
 Likeness of Moses
Deuteronomy 18:15 – The LORD your God will raise up for you a Prophet
like me from your midst, from your brethren. Him you shall hear.
Deuteronomy 18:18-19 – I will raise up for them a Prophet like you from
among their brethren, and will put My words in His mouth, and He shall
speak to them all that I command Him. And it shall be [that] whoever will not
hear My words, which He speaks in My name, I will require [it] of him.
Arguments
 The Likeness of Moses cont.
Acts 3:18-26 – But those things which God foretold by the mouth of all His
prophets, that the Christ would suffer, He has thus fulfilled. Repent therefore and
be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, so that times of refreshing may
come from the presence of the Lord, and that He may send Jesus Christ, who
was preached to you before, whom heaven must receive until the times of
restoration of all things, which God has spoken by the mouth of all His holy
prophets since the world began. For Moses truly said to the fathers, 'The LORD
your God will raise up for you a Prophet like me from your brethren. Him you
shall hear in all things, whatever He says to you. And it shall be [that] every soul
who will not hear that Prophet shall be utterly destroyed from among the
people.” Yes, and all the prophets, from Samuel and those who follow, as many
as have spoken, have also foretold these days. You are sons of the prophets, and
of the covenant which God made with our fathers, saying to Abraham, 'And in
your seed all the families of the earth shall be blessed. To you first, God, having
raised up His Servant Jesus, sent Him to bless you, in turning away every one [of
you] from your iniquities.

Closing Thought
Galatians 4:21-31 – Tell me, you who want to live under the law, do you know
what the law actually says? The Scriptures say that Abraham had two sons, one
from his slave wife and one from his freeborn wife. The son of the slave wife was
born in a human attempt to bring about the fulfillment of God's promise. But the
son of the freeborn wife was born as God's own fulfillment of his promise. These
two women serve as an illustration of God's two covenants. The first woman,
Hagar, represents Mount Sinai where people received the law that enslaved them.
And now Jerusalem is just like Mount Sinai in Arabia, because she and her
children live in slavery to the law. But the other woman, Sarah, represents the
heavenly Jerusalem. She is the free woman, and she is our mother. As Isaiah said,
“Rejoice, O childless woman, you who have never given birth! Break into a joyful
shout, you who have never been in labor! For the desolate woman now has more
children than the woman who lives with her husband!” And you, dear brothers and
sisters, are children of the promise, just like Isaac. But you are now being
persecuted by those who want you to keep the law, just as Ishmael, the child born
by human effort, persecuted Isaac, the child born by the power of the Spirit. But
what do the Scriptures say about that? “Get rid of the slave and her son, for the son
of the slave woman will not share the inheritance with the free woman's son.” So,
dear brothers and sisters, we are not children of the slave woman; we are children
of the free woman.
