(www.gsfc.org South Forsyth High School We Are… South Forsyth HOPE Scholarship Zell Miller Scholarship Must meet all the requirements to be eligible for the HOPE Scholarship, plus: Core GPA of 3.70+ 1,200 SAT (CR+MA) on a single test administration or a 26 composite on the ACT *A student named the valedictorian or salutatorian of his or her eligible high school is also eligible for the Zell Miller Scholarship, as long as the student has a minimum 3.0 HOPE GPA and meets all other requirements. Having SAT and/or ACT scores sent directly to college (and NCAA) from appropriate testing service. Most colleges will not accept scores from high schools, and scores are not on transcripts. 3. Acquiring a counselor/teacher recommendation, ONLY if required by a college. Senior Profile must be submitted to the counselor! 4. Giving teacher(s) an addressed stamped envelope if a recommendation is required, as well as an academic resume. Verifying that complete college application is sent online. Please allow at least 6 weeks for colleges to process & update websites. Counseling keeps spreadsheet of dates when electronic transcripts are downloaded and receipt cards to verify when mailed applications were received. 6. Requesting Transcripts online; Using MyPaymentsPlus to pay for transcript; The fee for each transcript is $4.00. The FINAL transcript at the end of the year is free. 7. Providing other materials as appropriate (resume, recommendation letters, counselor checklists, etc.) to accompany the transcript. Turn in all materials to Ms. Kristi Hall in the East Hall Counseling Office. 8. Students should BE AWARE of deadlines!!! Submit request with enough time to process the official transcript. Log in to My Payments Plus; Scroll down and click on the plus sign (+) by Counseling; Next, click on the plus (+) sign next to current student transcript requests; Choose the quantity and click on the box under Pay (You may pay for up to 10); Follow the payment process and submit your payment; If your payment is not approved, DO NOT complete the on-line request. Please see Ms. Hall in the East Hall Counseling Office for payment options. If your payment is approved, close out of My Payments Plus to return to the Zoho Creator Transcript Request Form. Complete the on-line form completely, according to your college’s admissions requirements. If the college does not require a recommendation or school evaluation form, then please do not request them.
