- Re-designed & implemented marketing strategy for Master Programs, incl. detailed preevent and post-event marketing and focus on clients’ needs (Result: admission competition
increased by 300% (2007-2008) with a steep growth in the quality of candidates
(determined through entrance exams results, GPA and employment results). Organized &
spoke at various marketing events in English & Russian. Increased Master Programs &
GSOM’s publicity through interviews and articles, e.g. St. Petersburg Times newspaper,
Gaudeamus newspaper.
- Represented GSOM at various events internationally and nationally (at EU universities,
provided training of visiting universities’ administration and faculty, meetings with business
leaders & administration, networking events at consulates etc).
- Established client-centered, international standards environment at Master Programs
through building excellent trust & respect-based environment for students, supported their
initiatives, employed proactive approaches towards further development in internationalquality environment.
- Made personal input towards CEMS international accreditation. Co-developed a new for
Russia Master Programs Admission process (GMAT, TOEFL, Interview in English by

- Identified various opportunities at the Master Programs department and across
departments, made proposals, lobbied for support for initiatives, managed projects.
- Organized the first in St. Petersburg GMAT-prepping opportunity for GSOM master
candidates, located a strong partner-company and built excellent long-term relationship
with it, besides the prepping system.
- Started Entrepreneurship Club from a scratch, ignited others, built relationship with USRussia entrepreneurship institute, moderated meetings & guest lectures.
- Created a drive among students, convinced GSOM management in the value & started a
Salsa Club at GSOM. Opened other non-academic development opportunities for masters.
- Developed a new concept for GSOM Career Center & then of a Students’ Professional
Development Center (based on leading US business schools’ standards). Developed special
training in career development and “sold” it to GSOM.
Networking, Management & Business Development (GSOM SPbSU):
Established new involvement/partnership/membership opportunities for GSOM (3M,
Siemens Management Consulting (Germany), international business community networking
(UK, Finland), GMAC key organization in the world business education (initiated &
accomplished positive decision about membership for GSOM), UK Trade & Investment –
British Consulate-General in St. Petersburg, a world-status national museum complex etc.
Initiated, organized and moderated at meetings with international companies’ leaders.
GSOM-wide projects: Created Student Affairs at New Campus Concept to be used as a
basis for architectural & development decisions about the GSOM’s new campus in Strelna,
acted as a team-member in work discussions of the project with US and Russian architects
and top-management. Authored a detailed concept of GSOM Professional Development
Center for Students
People Management: managed Master Programs' team as Executive Director (20072010). Mentored a professional member of the Master Programs’ staff. Trained a group of
administration employees in effective communication as a preparation for EPAS-quality work
(in English).

- Started a new product line with a $20 investment to develop B2B operations
(B2B/wholesale, jewelry & giftware). The business management required professional
