The information received from the assessments will be used to help us make decisions as to whether our Technology Plan is successful and whether or not changes need to be made. We will have a tech team of teachers and administrators who will guide us through the evaluation process. Having the updated programs on strong, reliable computers will provide consistency to the students. The students will have access to the most current programs which they will use within each of their core subject areas. New hardware and professional development opportunities within technology will ensure that our students will be able to participate in the most advanced online tutorials, explorations, and assessments, allow our students to create meaningful links to content as they prepare technology projects, and will provide students with the most current update information on the internet. Another student benefit is that with advanced hardware and software, students will be able to participate in distance learning programs which will ensure that our students are receiving the best education while attending schools within our district. Overall, this plan will ensure that each student and every teacher is empowered with technology skills that are appropriate and aligned with the curriculum requirements and state standards.
