UKI CANADIAN OPEN August 26 – 28, 2016 Held at the Ponoka Ag-Event Centre in Ponoka, Alberta Event Sponsorship Package About the event The UKI Canadian Open is a national agility competition that allows all breeds, regardless of pedigree. Competitors will range from beginner handlers, rising up to the very best in Canada. Besides individual competition results, scores from this event will provide two “win-on” spots per height for the Canadian National Team going to the World Agility Open in 2017, an international world event held annually in Europe. The UKI Canadian Open will have three rings and will be hosted at a large, indoor venue in Ponoka, Alberta (www.paecs.com). BLAST Agility—an Edmonton and area agility club—will be hosting the UKI Canadian Open. BLAST has hosted this event three times in previous years. Opportunities for Sponsors We would like to offer you the opportunity to be a part of this exceptional event. Sponsorship of the 2016 UKI Canadian Open provides a great marketing prospect for your company. A large number of national competitors will be attending this event. We expect over 200 dogs to be competing! The agility community is very active on social media and are considered experts in their respected dog communities. Products received as prizes and gifts will reach a larger audience than just the handlers attending the event. TYPES OF SPONSORSHIP Ring Sponsor (Total of 3 opportunities) There are a total of three indoor rings at the UKI Canadian Open. Each competitor will rotate through the rings multiple times a day. A Ring Sponsor will have the ring named after their company and have the predominate banner/signage in the ring. Hundreds of videos will be posted online with thousands of views helping spread your companies name to the dog agility community across Canada and around the world. A minimum monetary donation of $2,000 is required plus appropriate signage for at 100 x 100 ft ring (provided by sponsor two week before event). The funds will be used to dress up the rings and purchase/rent required equipment for the event. As a Ring Sponsor: Your company’s logo would be prominently displayed on the event advertisements and promotional materials. Your company’s logo will be displayed on the website as a Ring Sponsor of the UKI Canadian Open. Your company’s name will be included in public announcements during the event. You may provide unlimited banners to be displayed in the competition ring and award area. You can provide information such as pamphlets and samples to be placed into check-in bags. You would receive a discount on a vendor booth and only be required to pay $100 directly to the Calnash Ag Event Centre. Event Sponsor (Total of 9 opportunities) There are nine different events held throughout the nationals weekend. They include: Warm-up, Last Chance Master Heat, Speedstakes Final, UKI Canadian National, Games Biathlon, Agility Biathlon, Master Heat Final, Challenger Round and Team Final (three-dog relay). The Event Sponsor of each event will have their company name added to the event name. (Example: If Blast Agility was the sponsor of the Warm-up, it would be presented as “Blast Agility Warm-up” on the premium, announcements, running orders and results) An Event Sponsor will provide prizes for the winners of their event: 11x – 1st place prizes, 11x – 2nd place prizes and 11x – 3rd place prizes. The prizes could be monetary or your company’s products. The total value of prizes should be at least $500 to meet the sponsorship requirement in this category. As an Event Sponsor: Your company’s logo would be prominently displayed on the event advertisements and promotional materials. Your company’s logo will be displayed on the website as an Event Sponsor of the UKI Canadian Open. Your company’s name will be included in public announcements during the event. You may provide up to two banners to be displayed in the competition ring and award area. You can provide information such as pamphlets and samples to be placed into check-in bags. You would receive a discount on a vendor booth and only be required to pay $100 directly to the Calnash Ag Event Centre. Other Sponsorship Opportunities We can work together to create a custom sponsorship package based on your company’s preferences. We are asking for donation, of any amount, of monetary funds, products, gift certificates and/or promotional items that reflect your company. We will use these donations for the competitor and volunteer prizes or to offset the cost of travel/accommodations for volunteers. Every sponsor will have their company’s logo displayed on our website and banners/signs posted up around the venue.
