Tennis
There are still a few spaces for the Kyson Tennis Club which takes place on Wednesdays 3.15-4.15pm, at a cost
£33 for the term. Please see the office for an application form if you are interested in this high quality coaching
opportunity.
Extra-Curricular Clubs
In addition, to the clubs run by external providers Tennis (Wednesdays 3.15-4.15pm), Gymnastics (Mondays 3.154.00pm) and Just 42 (Tuesdays 3.15-4.00pm), the Kyson staff have organised a variety of extra –curricular
opportunities for this term, in response to the children’s requests.

The children have all made their choices and clubs will begin next week and will finish the week ending Thursday
March 20th.
Book Fair
Many thanks for supporting the Book Fair at the end of last term in such numbers. The Book Fair raised in total
£996.16 and therefore the school has benefited from free books to the value of £537. A real treat!
Saturday Dad’s Club
You may be interested in a new club that has just started. “Saturday Dad’s Club”. Every other Saturday at
Kesgrave Children’s Centre 9.30-11.30am Dads/Grandads/Stepdads are invited to take their 0-5 year olds along
for a fun play session. Bacon sandwiches and breakfast are always available too. Please ring the Children’s Centre
on 01473 265833 for more information.
Assembly Date Change
Apologies for any inconvenience caused but it has been necessary to change two class assembly dates. Please
note that Class 1L will lead our assembly on Friday March 28th and Class 4G will do so on Friday May 16th.
Parent/Teacher Consultations
Teacher/parent consultations will take place on Tuesday February 11th 3.30pm – 6.00pm and Thursday February
13th 6.00pm - 8.30pm. We hope that you will make an appointment to talk about your child’s learning and we
shall look forward to meeting with you during one of the after school sessions. Please note that Nursery parents
will have consultations later in the term.
Please indicate on the slip below your preferred day and time and return it to the school office as soon as
possible. We shall return the same slip to you with a confirmed time written on it.
