ALSO

The Admission Information Form (AIF) is required and taken into account!

Admission Information Form (AIF)

• Academic history

• Extracurricular activities

- At school

- In the community

- Self-study or relevant work experience

- Math, computing and other contests

• Teacher Reference

• Get your forms online http://www.findoutmore.uwaterloo.ca/thenextstep

• The AIF is required for ALL programs

Admissions

• Decisions are based on the Admission Average and the

AIF Score

• Admission Average - add marks for the required courses

(2 Math, Eng) plus highest U course plus highest two other

U/M courses and divide by 6

• Although the AIF is important, grades form the most important part of any admission decision

• For more information on admissions visit: https://uwaterloo.ca/math/future-undergraduates/admissions

• Euclid Contest score may make a difference for certain high demand programs

Euclid Contest

• Written on Tuesday, April 12, 2016

• Not required for admission BUT a strong performance could help you earn a place in the Faculty

• Used in Admission Scholarships decisions
