Course Learning Outcomes
 Describe the

normal structure and function of the
human Respiratory System and its major organs , and
compare it with abnormal structure and function.
Describe the pharmacological principles of treatment,
and principles of therapeutics
Review the structure and functions of the human body in
health and disease
Prepare content for electronic presentation
Use computers and access information sources by using
library and on-line information sources, including
internet and intranet systems accurately, systematically
and in sufficient depth
Formulate hypotheses, collect and critically evaluate
data, for the solution of problems

Assessment
Total mark, 100% = (100 Marks), is divided as follows:
1-Continuous assessment
3o% = (Q1=15%, Q2=15%, each is 20 MCQs + T&F
+ Matching Qs). + Substitution Exam (a
day before the final exam)
2- PBL & SDL assessment
5% = (5 marks for PBL, marks for SDL).
3-Final Examination (written)
50% = (50 Marks, MCQs + MCQs in PBL + T&F +
Matching Qs. + short questions).
4-Practical assessment
10% = (10 Marks, 20 OSPE questions)
5-Oral Exam
5% = 5 Marks
