Valdese Weavers Continues to Grow: Promotes Key Executives Brown, Earles and Walters
Valdese, North Carolina - April 12, 2013 - In response to the company’s significant growth, textile
leader Valdese Weavers announced the promotion of three key executives. Newly appointed Senior Vice
President and Chief Marketing Officer Blake Millinor notes the advancement of Leslie Brown, Jason
Earles and Bob Walters will have a positive impact on the future development of the company.
Leslie Brown will become Director of Sales and Marketing for Valdese Weavers Residential brands.
Brown brings over 20 years of experience in the residential market, most recently as a sales
representative for the Circa brand. “Leslie’s background and experience is perfectly suited to provide
support for our selling efforts across our Residential brands” said Blake Millinor, Senior Vice President of
Valdese Weavers Sales and Marketing. In her newly appointed position she will be responsible for
leading the sales efforts for the decorative segments of our residential account base, and will act as a
liaison between the Valdese Weavers Sales and Design teams.
Jason Earles will become Director of Sales and Marketing for Valdese Weavers with emphasis on the
commercial side of our business. “Jason’s unique skill set has contributed to the efficiency of the sales
process, from product and design all the way through to retail. With Earles help, Valdese Weavers hopes
to be able to extend into a new portion of the textile market”, said Millinor.
Bob Walters will become the Senior Vice President of Customer Relations. “Bob’s vast knowledge and
experience in dealing with customer satisfaction has helped Valdese Weavers bridge the gap between
sales and manufacturing, and will continue to help the company grow and provide customers with
superior products and service”, according to Millinor. In his new position, Walters will be responsible
for all customer service functions from start to finish.
