History/Planning
2012/13 – Cohort 1: Pilot Schools
•2 High Schools
•5 Staff Trained as Facilitators & 1 AP from each school
•2 Different Trainings - Facilitator Training & Systems
Team Training
2013/14 – Cohort 2
• 2 More High Schools Trained
• Additional Staff from Cohort 1 Trained as
Facilitators (Many staff from Cohort 1 also
attended Systems Team Training as a
“Refresher” type of training)
At the end of the 2013/14 school yr. the
Madison Board of Education approved a new
Behavior Education Plan (BEP) which replaced
the Code of Conduct and included RENEW as
a Tier 3 intervention at the High School level
2014/15 – Cohort 3 Alternative High School Staff
Trained & Additional Staff from all High Schools
trained as well.
Currently All 4 Primary High Schools and Several
Staff members from the Alternative Programs have
gone through Systems Team and Facilitator Training
