This specification describes a high performance, articulated side walk tractor that shall support a variety of attachments. The versatility is required to allow operation in all four seasons of the year. Basic functions shall include snow removal from sidewalks, sanding/salting, sweeping, roadside mowing, and turf maintenance as described below. Wheel motor based ground drive to incorporate four (4) Poclain two-speed hydrostatic wheel motors providing both transport mode and work mode. When operated in work mode the speed is to be 0 to 10 mph. Transport mode to allow vehicle speeds from 0 to 23 mph with winter tires installed. Eighteen gallon hydraulic reservoir to be shared by both the attachment hydraulic and hydrostatic ground drive systems. Hydraulic system cooling to be provided by an engine mounted 20 inch suction fan to force air through rear mounted hydraulic cooler.
